N.H. Rates High on Bioterror Safety

Dec 23 2004, Portsmouth Herald - A report issued by the Trust for America's Health concluded that while states, including New Hampshire, have made strides in how prepared they are for a bioterrorist attack, they are a long way from providing for the safety of the American public.

"The scores demonstrate continued incremental progress, however, preparedness is still lagging behind goals and expectations," the report concluded. "With most states still in the middle range of the scale and no states meeting all the indicators, there are still major areas of vulnerability.
